One more day!

My grandpa passed away last Saturday night. August 23rd around 8:00 at night. 

So its pushed back me going into training until Saturday, which is tomorrow. Its made things tougher and leaving a little bit harder. But thinking back, the timing was in the Lords hands and I'm thankful that I hadn't already left and I could be here for all this. I spent a few hours with Papa before he went and that was by the grace of God.  

I'm leaving tomorrow morning!! I can't believe it. I've seen SO many family members this past week and I know that I have a lot of prayers from you guys. Thank you so much for the prayers and support.. 

The next time I write I'll be in SOUTH AFRICA! 6 hours ahead of everyone in 48-50 degree weather. :)

Papa passing away has made me hesitate going but, the Lord gave me confirmation that I still need to go through a verse in Acts. The verse was saying something like.. "Don't worry about anything, everything is going to turn out for the best. You have been a witness for me here in Jerusalem.. now go be a witness for me in Rome!" 

Haha.. Thats the Lord for ya. :) I'm nervous, but at the same time ready to go do the Lords work.

Saying Goodbyes....

I'm going to be using this while I'm in Africa so I don't have to individually e-mail everyone. I can just kinda update everyone when I get the opportunity to be on a computer of what we are doing, how I'm doing, and what you can pray for. So far, thank you all for the support and the prayers!!
I'm leaving in 8 days.
It's crazy. Me and Gaby started getting some things for the trip today.
I'm kind of excited now and ready to leave.

I've said my goodbyes to Courtney and Sammi. :(
